The Story Behind the Name: Averich Landscaping

Every great name carries a story, and the name Averich Landscaping is no exception. Behind those two words lies a story of friendship, ambition, loss, and love — a legacy built not just in business, but in memory.

The name "Averich" was originally born from a clothing brand created by My'Kel, the eldest son of Michael, the owner of Averich Landscaping. My'Kel crafted the name as a tribute to two things closest to his heart: his best friend Avery, and a dream they both shared — the dream of becoming forever rich. By blending "Avery" with "rich," My'Kel forged the word Averich — a name that represented their bond and their ambitions, stitched together into something that would last.

Tragically, Avery passed away before he could see that dream fully realized. My'Kel carried the name forward, keeping his best friend's memory alive through the brand he cherished deeply. Then, in August of 2023, the family was struck by heartbreak once more — My'Kel passed away in the same manner as his beloved friend.

In the wake of unimaginable grief, Michael made a decision rooted in love and honor. He named his landscaping company Averich — the very name his son had poured his heart into — so that every time someone reads it, hears it, or sees it on a truck rolling through a neighborhood, they are reminded of two young men who dreamed big, loved deeply, and left a mark on the world that no amount of time can erase.
